Another trailer question- for those that trailer: is a V nose that much easier to pull than a flat front. Assuming both aluminum and same length and approximate weight. Is it worth it to spend the extra $$ and get a v nose?

my understanding is no. it's only an advantage if you get the v part to open, so you can (e.g.) drive an atv/snowmobile/etc straight out. it's not really an aerodynamic shape. consider that MOST of the trailer is blocked by the truck anyway.

I am assuming you are considering a light weight single car hauler. Best in my opinion, Featherlight - hands down! I have a 20' enclosed and its great. I agree the nose shape is probably irrelevant. The other super lightweight choice is Trailex - great trailer and 1300 pounds lighter than the Featherlight but very limiting interior height. not a practical tradeoff for the weight difference

Loved the enclosed V nose as i had top and bottom cabinets installed in the V when i spec'ed it and they built is for me. As for trailers, Featherlite are great yet $$$. See if you can find a used CargoPro (Series 3000 are very good and have LED lighting too). Trailex OPEN trailers seem to not be as solid as the open Featherlite (which i had) about 5 years ago. SO am comparing the Trailex open from 5 years ago to the Featherlite. i DID attach the Trailex tire carrier to the Featherlite since Featherlite did not offer one and was very impressed with the Trailex tire carrier.
