    I read somewhere that they would build a version of the Quattroporte with the V12 motor from the Ferrari 575M, any truth to this?

    Yes there have been test mules, but the last I heard from the dealer a few days ago is its not going to happen. Instead horsepower will be raised on the existing engine by about 40 hp in the next year or two.

    Yes and no.

    It was almost a certain yes when Ferrari was in charge, but now that they split I do not know. Most still say yes. I for one am not as positive, but hopeful. The V12 was going to have 580hp and was also going to be a long wheelbase.

    Not 580.......more like 508 bhp.

    These plans were recently scrapped,instead Maserati will introduce 2 "new" models,a GT and Executive,which are already on the books anyway.
