They are in comparison to all the other cars in the video, I would think it is much better when pushed. Is that condensation coming out the coupe exhaust? It’s a bucket load!
While that video is quiet, I am going to reserve judgement until I get to hear it in person. I can always keep the F12 around for some exhaust note enjoyment and use the 12 Cilindri as a good GT cruiser.
Sure, the F12 is a bit more raw. I don't see myself taking the 12 Cilindri out to the track whereas I have and do track the F12 when I get the itch. My statement centered around my personal F12 having exhaust on it, so it already sounds great. Worst case, if I miss the sound on the 12 Cilindri, just take the F12 out on rowdy runs. . They're all going to be great GT cars with the 812 and 12 Cilindri arguably being better than the F12 for comfort, and tech if that's a factor for your GT cruising.
Guys, it's a V12 Ferrari.. it will sound glorious. Don't sweat it. Ferrari knows that the V12 soundtrack is what sells these cars. It will be fine.
Yeah, my 812 is no GPF. The sound is ridiculously good. My lady says it literally turns her on. Reason enough not to go 12 c’ing…
My 812 GTS has GPF I have valves forced open and I think car sounds freakin awesome! Shifts up or down is like a symphony its one of the best modern sounding cars
You’re right. I guess we should all stop complaining about what it looks like since you can’t see it from the inside anyways? All these posers… agonizing over their exterior specs. Don’t they realize they can’t see the car while they’re driving? Only a self-absorbed prick would care about how their car is perceived from the outside.
Serious question for those who actually understand these regulations. How do manufacturers like GMA and Koenigsegg get away with it? I don’t know the actual dB data for these cars, but based on videos the T50 and Jesko must easily be clearing >100 dB. How are they able to get around the restrictions? Are there exemptions for extremely low production manufacturers?
It does not. An excellent high revving engine muffled in a giant coffee can stuffed with a puffy blanket. So disappointing. Destroying what could join its aural lineage is criminal. Many feel this way especially knowledgeable V12 owners. The crazy part is there was no restriction in their largest market yet theirs is neutered too.
812 comp sounds “good” to me when comparing to other marques and turbo models, yes. But I am with you 100% on the killing of proper sound post gpf. I’m also in the camp that goes decat on mine. But I know sound at this level isn’t what everyone wants. Stock 812 always had a good sound in general when looking at many other supercars. But was a change for sure after regulation and not a fan.
