    This is the one actually issued by our DMV. The design isn't great and they are kind of hard to read so I keep it in the trunk just in case and have the Italian one mounted. Most cops here don't give you a hard time over it

    I'm not in Italy. I'm in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

    Technically, using reproduction European plates is illegal here but as long as the letters and numbers match the one you were issued, cops here tend to give you a pass. I keep my legally issued plate in the trunk just in case they order me to swap it back but that hasn’t happened
