I have wintered in St. Augustine the last 10 years. Too Cold. Any leads, ideas or pointers on resources in South Fl or the keys for a furnished house with pool for the winter season next year would be welcome. I anticipate min. 5000 monthly. Please. Andy

Rental right? some more details would be helpful.

you want to be on the beach? Near the beach?

Gulf Coast? Atlantic Coast? (Yes I know St Augustine is on the right coast.)

Have you spent some time on Zillow or Realtor.com looking at rentals in that price range?

Lots of great places on the Gulf Coast to choose from. I just finished looking for a home and recently purchased down here near Fort Myers.

Wonderful weather, great beaches. Maybe a little laid back.

TwoBR with pool on or very near beach. Quiet is good. Looking for a community where I can ride my bike. Someplace with character. Will look in the Ft. Meyers area. Thanks

Should not be too tough to find several dozen great places. Gulf of Mexico towns down this way all seem to have bike trails, etc, so plenty of places to look.

Boca Grande looks to be very nice. Been there a few times, right on the gulf, nice beaches, etc. OOPS, doesn't look like there's much to rent there. So look north to Englewood or Sarasota.

Lots of friends in Sarasota during the season. I also have a buddy who owns a couple rental units, I'll see what his fetch.

Weekly rentals for single family homes are prohibited, monthly only, so it keeps the rates in check.

Check out Sanibel Vacations, Kingfisher, Royal Shell, and other sites for rental options.
    VRBO also.

I think we may have found a place in Key Largo. Thanks for all the input. Andy
