Are you going to be driving, or flying? Fort Hood is (roughly) a couple hours from San Antonio, 1.5 Hrs from Austin, 3.5 Hrs from Dallas, and 4 hours from Houston. Texas is a big place.

    When will you be visiting?

Here in Dallas, the only event on the calendar near the end of August is our "Fine Dining" event, Saturday, Aug. 27, location TBD. Whoever is in charge of that one shouldbe posting the details soon.

Basically we all just go out to a nice restaurant, and check out the cars before and after dinner. You're welcome to come if you're in town!

In Austin we will be having our Ferrari breakfast on either Aug. 20 or 27. We always have a good turnout with a new car almost ever time.

San Antonio is going to have a breakfast on Aug. 6 but, I've never been to one in SA so, I'm not sure how good of a turnout there will be. I'm going to that one.

EDIT: The San Antonio dealership has a Rosso Corsa F430 Coupe for sale for $260,000 so, I'm sure it will be there for a while.

Hmmm, this is the first time I think I've ever seen "Fort Hood" and "vacation destination" collide in the same thought....

Anyways, you might want to call the guys at Norwood Performance and see if they have time to show you around. Always cool stuff there, and they're not far from Lambo Dallas

    Hey man,

I work at Park Place. We have Mercedes, Porsche, Maserati, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce here in Dallas. I work for Mercedes. When you come down, I'd be happy to give you a tour of our Merc/Porsche store. Drive safe. There's plenty to see down here.

Different Park Place. That is Park Place LTD. We are Park Place Motorcars. www.parkplacetexas.com . We had a yellow Carrera GT last week, but I believe that left on Friday. We also currently have a 360 in stock on our pre-owned lot. Your typical RR Phantom, Bentleys (like, 5 Continental GTs), lots of Maseratis (a few GranSports), and all the Mercedes you can handle, including an SL65, S65, and CLS55. No SLR, tho.

I lived on post (Fort Hood) and in Killeen from 1973 to 1986 and currently live in Dallas. If you and your parents decide to come up to Dallas from Fort Hood, the drive will be approx. 2 hours and 45 minutes. With Lambo Dallas and Boardwalk Ferrari/Maserati located in Dallas, it may be the best destination for you...

Depending on the actual date of your visit (in Dallas), I might be able to guide you to these exotic car dealers.

We'll probably be in our new place by then....I'll be on the service drive. Look for the tall, skinny, white kid running around driving cars. :)

    Jason,

Some little advice, people on here gave me. Lamborghini of Dallas, talk to Jonathan P. he's on FChat so send him a PM.

Park Place LTD, of course go to Joshua, i should be meeting up with him next weekend, finally, to check out Park Place. I have a new camera and a lot of memory Joshua..hehe..get ready.:)

    Ferrari of San Antonio
    15423 IH 10 West

Talk to Matt, Jeff, or Tony. Great people there, wont mind at all to show you around.

San Antonio has some other smaller dealerships, the Lotus, Hovey Motorcars with all of their Qvales and Mangustas..tons of them...thats pretty much it. But Ferrari of San Antonio is a great place.

The most important thing is calling ahead, calling ahead such as with Jonathan and at FoSa, it will allow them to know you are coming and they would be grateful for you to roam around the showrooms.

    Take Care and Good Luck!
