Vacheron minute repeaters platinum or gold?

After quite a bit of intense scrutiny on these two versions of the sublime minute repeater, I still have a difficult time deciding which one is superior. With the foreknowledge that minute repeaters are notoriously unique and extremely difficult to compare face to face I am leaning toward the delicate sonority of a Vacheron 30010/000P-7594 in platinum of course as is designated by the P at the end of 000.

It's almost like comparing two versions of Chopins opus no.27 nocturne, Lang lang has more melody vs Yundi Li who has slightly more of an "intense" emotional impact to his rendition of the piece.

But....As much as I adore the king of metals, I have noticed a VERY slight, almost imperceptible difference in sound of the rose gold model of the same calibre. here are two videos of the open worked version of this magnificent piece, notice the difference in the two.

I have to say that the rose gold version is slightly superior, but it is possible that the recording device and way the watch was positioned influenced the sound. The only way to really tell is in person or having a fellow VC fan enlighten me on this predicament.

the platinum version of this watch is the ultimate in discretion, for those of you out there who prefer to fly under the radar with a 350k watch, knowing that only an extremely small percentage of people in the world will have any idea of the beauty and delicacy of this masterpiece of horology.

oddly enough I haven't found the same dramatic differences in Patek repeaters. The difference is there of course, but not nearly as obvious in the aforementioned Vacheron.
