    I would like to wire my valentine radar detector in my F40 fusebox...any suggestions? thanks

    Do you already have the hardwire kit? If so, you should be able to tap it into any 12V source. Would you happen to know what software version you have in your V1 by the way? It's not necessary info be able to hardwire it, I was just curious.

    yes I have the hardwire kit...and I have two valentines, one the older version and one the newer version. My problem is figuring out which of the wire are 12 V and hot when ignition is on, and also I noticed someone has wired a small tranfdormer near the fuse box set at 9V for some type of detector, I am sure (archer it says on it)
