Just wondering how you use the device, do you have it clipped to the sun visor or attached the windscreen and do you use the remote display option from Valentine? I'm not sure how useful the remote display is since the actual display will only be a foot away from you.

Have mine installed on the windshield near the rearview mirror. I have hidden the power cord along the top of the windshield then down the passenger side trim.

Works well and not in the way.

yes, and I run the power cord (a phone cord) up through the dash under the airbag, into the accessory fusebox in the front trunk. under the carpet near the passenger hood latch.

Thanks for the feedback guys, does anyone use the concealed display, is it worth purchasing?

No. the concealed display will be farther away and harder to see than the unit itself.

Concealed displays also use a remote sensor usually installed low at the bumper level. I place my Val on the passenger's side visor clipped with a rolled cloth between the windscreen and visor to adjust its aim. Cord winds around the rear view mirror and down to the power plug.

Having a bumper level remote sensor is going to hurt your "heads-up time"... probably by quite a bit. Higher the better. Visor is about the best you can do. Of course it's also important to make sure it's level or real close to level.
