Valentine's Dinner at FoA

Since that's a Saturday, I believe I'll join in

 

FYI, we do plan to have a pianist and guitarist perform some light jazz and romantic tunes to help set the mood...if you want to go you really need to make your reservations as soon as you can as the size of the FoA showroom will limit the number of guests we can accommodate.

 

Looks like a great event!!!! Cyndi and I would love to attend but we are in Savannah that week-end. Maybe we can make the trip for it.

Me and my family are really good friends with the couple that owns this restuarant. Say hi to Maria for me!

 

I'd love to go and meet everyone but I'll be at the Grammy's in LA.

 

Invitations to ~300 FCA-SE members were mailed out today. So if you want to take your Valentine to this wonderful event, you need to make your reservations before the rush.

 

Diana and I would drive over, but recommendations for places to stay would be appreciated.

I'd look at the Hampton Inn up in that area; nice, close to the dealership, reasonable, plenty of parking for your car, safe. I use to live up in that area and stay there on business sometimes.

For you guys that want to go, be sure you get me your check as soon as possible. The limited space at FoA will cause us to cut off accepting reservations soon and we really need a head count for the caterer by 2-1-07.

I'd like to take the GF, but I'm not sure the ol' Dino is up for a 10 hour round trip. I don't think I'd want to show up in the Toyota...

 

I'm sure the Dino will make it...but, I'm not likely to drive my Ferrari to the dinner either...

 

I have met with Maria from Casa Nuova and have confirmed this menu: APPETIZERS; vegetable platter w/home made dip, crab stuffed mushrooms in lobster sauce and homemade meatballs. SALAD;Caesar. ENTREES;Sicilian eggplant parmigiana, chicken Marsala and homemade meat ravioli w/champagne sauce. ASSORTED DESERTS w/coffee...dinner will be served buffet style so you can eat some of all...yum yum...

 

FYI, my first date with my wife of 13 years was at an FCA-SE Valentine's Dinner at FAF on Feb 13, 1993...so that GF could just become your wife after this dinner...

 

Now you're really scaring me!
