Hi guys, Here is a link to my hand signed Rossi race suit for sale in the Ferrari Ads section. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=8980 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fun thing to have in your office. I suspect there is a strong possibility that RM may have some original Rossi stuff in the coming Monaco auction. The Ducati factory is apparently listing some of the memorabilia from the race team/museum collection.
yeah I heard that around the time of last Como visit,Still have all my Dukes except sold a 900SS supersport and a 916SP whens the 288 GTO coming??
As long as you still have that 1974 750 SS 288 values are off in la la land these days. Can't see it unless market gets back to sane levels.
yep Greenframe will never be sold I dont think,I agree that 288"s are ridiculous prices now, but, doesnt stop the desire though! sigh...........
Huge values on the green frames now. There are a couple of "Corsa" hotted up ones for sale in the Monaco auction.
what are they going for?? not long ago there was 1 of 2 only Paul smart raced one for sale....ooooooHH!
Good to see you around again BOB, it's been a while. Will be interesting to see the history of those particular bikes. They are using the same racing photos for both bikes.
g'day Alf,long time................these maybe the Paul smart and his partner (cant remember the guys name now) worth heaps and 1 off's,fantastic....drool......
It's interesting because one bike is #750457 and normally they all started with 075 except the 3 bikes that went to the US but were #753xxx. The other bike is #075157 which stayed at home (Italy). There are no photo's of the frame numbers for these bikes posted at this stage so that is why I'm looking forward to seeing what history there is of the bikes. There is a 1975 750SS that I like.
What am I missing here?? http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=12033458&__Qpb=1&Cr=0&__Ns=p_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cp_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cp_Model_String%7c0&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201626%201428%204294967242&silo=1400&seot=1&__Nne=15&trecs=838&__sid=12D62BB697A4 http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=9982028&__Qpb=1&Cr=7&__Ns=p_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cp_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cp_Model_String%7c0&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201626%201428%204294967242&silo=1400&seot=1&__Nne=15&trecs=838&__sid=12D62BB697A4
well, at least he admitted it....we don't know for sure about the first one. but still, almost double the price?? some weird crap going on there.
First one is dreaming, most are advertised about $70-80k. Second one is crashed as Brett said. It would be one of the ones that went through a salvage auction a few months after I got mine. They were pretty badly damaged as I recall. As an aside, you can write one off by it falling off the side stand. The parts prices are insane.
Nice unmodified green frame is $100k+ now. Documented top race history and it could be multiples of that.
Putting some of the above stuff into perspective:Troy Corser's championship Ducati from 1999,is coming up for auction at Coys(Britain),the guesstimate is (in Euros)65K-85K.
