Welcome to the Valeo club. The more you drive it, the more you'll like it. Also, you'll love tell everyone it's a "Two Pedal Car with a Clutch" and everyone going "WHat?"

Love the car. Still need to do an engine out to be sure everything is correct and up to date. This is my second Mondial Cabriolet having also owned an 88 3.2 Mondial. Fun and easy car. The Valeo is a trip. Hard to believe it acts like a manual with no third pedal. Bonus that the Mondial Cab is the only mid engine, four seater, convertible ever made (so I've heard).

I am now the proud owner of #95903. It still only has about 12,900 miles.

I wrote a magazine article about these cars a number of years ago. My Ferrari contact was not able to tell me how many were made other than a round number but he did give me information I had never known. It was all Valeo USA's idea. They needed an auto maker to do a proof of concept to test the system in real world conditions. They felt Ferrari being a very low production operation would be better able to integrate a very small number of units into the production of cars.

Has anyone ever approached Valeo USA to see if any information exists on their end? Ferrari is terrible about sharing any information.
