    I have narrowed it down to 2 Mondials. one is especially fresh however is has the Valeo Trans. I have spoken to a few service folks and emotions are mixed on this set up. Any imput??

    Dukatessa,

    I don't wan't to "dis" my Mondial valeo brethren, but I would personally opt for the 5 speed...the one with a clutch. If you want an automatic, buy a minivan! (KIDDING!) Actually from what I have heard they work fairly well.

    I personally like to shift, with both the clutch and the linkage, so with me the valeo was not an option. If you are even vacillating then it is probably not an option for you either.

    What is the difference between the two besides the trannys? Fresh=????

    Valeo system worked great but no one supports them and parts are near impossible to find. I would stay away.
