The time has come to thin down my library, I'm running out of space with too many magazines and books competing for ever shrinking shelve space. If I end up storing these they will never see the light of day again, so time to sell of some surplus.

I have a complete run of the Auto Aficionado magazine, from the preview copy to the last copy Mar/Apr 2008. 20 magazines in total + the preview copy Vol 1 #00

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out a fair value for these and will then post them in the Ads section. What do you think would be a fair value?

    Many thanks
    Matt

About $150. A complete set of Forza, which I have, 97 issues,
    goes for about $1000-1500.

To me the magazine was a bit of a hype. I found one story that had been run
years earlier in another magazine, so I think writers, when they didn't get paid,
started submitting whatever leftover story they had around figuring it was at least good for exposure. Other stories were pure "PR plants" planted by PR men who subsequently engineered the purchase of ads. Nothing wrong with that from the PR standpoint.

I myself save SUPERCAR CLASSiCS from the UK. That was put out by some of the same people who put out CAR magazine. It had really great photos, nostalgic articles and some artwork by artists I have not seen in other magazines. But I only pay about $5.00 a copy for these.

CAVALLINOs seem so numerous it doesn't seem you have to pay more than $5.00 for them.

MOTORSPORT is getting good so I might start saving that.

The real trick is to find a stack of Italian car magazines, which will have pictures, and articles not available here.
