I have the original cardboard box that came from the factory, in which they packed all sorts of items (which are listed on a paper attached) such as tool kit, mirrors, gear knob, etc.

I also have the little instruction hang tag for the Veglia Borletti electronic clock.

Anybody ever sold or bought these items? Short of that, any guesses? In theory these are sold, we just have to agree on a fair price, & I don't have much of an idea.

    Thanks.

Use the search function for clock tag and you'll find a lot of discussion on this subject.

Hi, thanks, I did a search & found some discussion, but I didn't see any prices or values mentioned though.

A clock tag in very nice condition for a Daytona just sold on ebay for a little over $1,000. Depends on whether it says push or pull to set the hands and elettronico carries more value than the quarzo type.

    Thanks for that info.

    These instructions say:

    To reset the clock
1-Push and turn the knob to set the hands

I have a friend who has owned his 1970 "L" series Dino from new. Apparently the keys that came with a Dino were hung from a string which goes around the steering wheel collar. His string is still on his car! That must be a tough thing to find and goodness knows what collectors would pay for that. FYI, it isn't for sale.

not to hijack this thread, but the clock tag on ebay has the clock spelled "clok".

it seems to me the only way both you and your theoretical buyer are going to know the price was fair (market) is to put the items on ebay.

These items were sold back last year, so it's moot point for me now.

Do you know the origin of these items? Did they come with a car you purchased new and if so what year and model?

I found the string still wrapped around the stem of #22641 308GTB but I absent mindedly cleaned it off......

Yes, they belonged to a friend that recently passed away. He originally brought the car over to the US himself. He only had it a few years, then he sold it. I can't remember the exact year/model details right now, but the car has been happily living in FL for many years.

so what was the market value when you sold it?
was it just the box and/or box plus contents?

The buyer can comment on this if he wants to, I wouldn't want to disclose that without permission, just because he is a fellow Fchat member.

Early Ferrari Dino clocks were mechanical, had a different adjustment stem and did not say electronic or quartzo on them (see photo). If this is a Dino clock, it's a late Dino and somebody on this alias can surely verify that.
