    Can anyone help me determine a value for a magazine collection? I have a few sets of Cavallino Magazines. 2 are complete sets, all in mint condition, and have the first and second printing of the very first issue. 1 set is complete except it only has the second printing of the first issue and is in mint condition. The last set has issues 14-current and is in mint condition. Any help would be very appreciated. I'm not looking to sell at this moment, just have to value them for other reasons. I've tried looking on the internet and can't find much information anywhere. Thank you very much.

    $2500 - 4000 for the full sets.......the last set would just be "extras" until you complete it and doing so now is next to impossible!

    Although we had a guy post here his local library "threw out" the first 20 issues! He snagged them right up not knowing what they were..

    Cavallino actually sells them they have a price schedule...

    Actually, it was through an outfit where people donate used books and magazines to be sold for the benefit of the local public library. I was able to get the first issue through around number 150 and even the red boxes that hold them. Cost me all of approximately 25 cents each!! Keep your eyes open, you never know what might turn up.

    Not you though this wasn't a regular poster to our site...he was a Pcar guy...

    My set breaks up below #20, IIRC I have #11 as my first, red holders check......I always ask Half Price Books (thinking like you of a private collection breaking up.).....so far no luck...

    any more info. would be greatly appreciated, but that helps a lot! if it comes up that i want to keep a set or two, but sell the others, is this a decent place to try or should i do eBay? thanks!
