    Hello chaps,

    I'm thinking of selling my 'pride & joy' F355 spider (to buy either a Diablo or 360 Spider) ... would it be against forum rules to post a little summary and photo as i have no idea what to ask for it - I need honest opinions as to it's value. It is unfortunately Cat C registered with incomplete service history - hence the need for opinions. The car is immaculate and i've spent over £25000 on it over in the past 3 years of my ownership.

    Dave feel free to put an add in the for sale thread at the top of the page :)

    The price would be pretty easy if it wasnt for the Cat C claim against the car, my honest opinion on the selling price for a car like yours may not be what you want to hear :(

    Agreed, driven by the fact that many potential buyers will be put off by the Cat C claim. Shame, as I'm sure there are scruffier cars that are clear but will get a better price!

    True - It's a shame it will get less because of it's Cat C status - However, I paid less for it 3 years back, so I expect less now.

    In my opinion it's in stunning condition - Far better than any of the 355's i saw at the Nottingham dealership last time i popped in.

    I've put a post in the 'UK for sale' thread now - open to offers

    Bit of an update -

    Having had a look at the old HPI check I did when I purchased the car (and not relying on my memory as i did before!), it's actually a Cat D, not a Cat C - which is a little 'better'. Not that it makes a great deal of difference but I thought i'd mention it.

    I know of another forum which I'm sure you visit where the price you've set on ebay is under discussion as being about £10k too much.

    Yes, I've also noted your 'opinion' of it on there too - I feel it's fair, especially considering i've already been offered £35K.

    They are currently an option with the car - If / when it sells and if the new owner decides against that set I will email you.

    Erm I think you'll find I haven't commented on your car. I can if you want but don't think its fair when someone is trying to sell a car.

    Sorry, I worded my reply incorrectly, I was not refering to you, I was refering to the other forum's comments as a whole. All seems to have been smoothed over in that forum now anyway.
