I am not selling the car, therefore I am not the one to set the asking price. I feel this car is worth no more than $125K to $130K in the condition it's in. I offered $130K for it, but the seller feels that the car is worth more. As far as the $5K finders fee, I have no control my friends fees. My opinion of the market is right on... Gene

OK, so what are we saying the market for a 512M really is?

I would say nobody thinks they are less than 125K, probably nobody thinks much more than 175K?

So, could we just say they are about 9/10s of a comparable 512BB?

heres the problem, he hasnt sold it, and you havent bought, so to say what you think the market is maybe ambitious.

If you want one, you either have to wait, or pony up....for me....id wait...pay the extra and get the best car you can find....and then drive it down.

All you TR fans better hope that 512Ms go up in value because nothing is going to happen to the value of the earlier cars until these move. Remember, the recent boxer run up started with the 365 car.

Yes, for a good car you need to pay up. The #8 car is not that car. Lot's of issues that you can PM me on if there is some one interested in the car. I would over look these issues because I want a yellow car. The $15K-$20K needed to get the car right and the almost 24,000 miles made me come up with $130K offer. I think I was very fair....

Interesting, Gene I offered the previous owner $105K for that car. After spending 2 years compiling information and building a web site about the cars including prices if you wanted an M in the low 100's you should have been in the market in 2000 or 2001 when the prices had bottomed. In the current market conditions you might be able to find one in the mid 140's but it will need some work and interesting enough you have located one.

512Ms are worth more than boxers (now).

I would say 150 to 210 is more realistic.
