    All,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but here goes.

My 575 has HRE wheels with low profile valves. I want to mount some TPMS caps but they won't fit so I need valve extenders.

Is it ok to run valve extenders full time? Any mounting tips (Teflon tape, etc).

This is a short/midterm solution until I need service when I will have the internal sensors replaced with the TPMS sensors I want. So a few months.

    Thanks!

I have not used valve extenders, but once a tire shop used longer than normal valves...I assume it was all they had, on my BMW. The centrifugal force caused the metal valve caps at the end of the extended length valve stems to contact my wheel rims and cause minor paint damage.
