    Is there a differance in the valve shim diameter in the 308/Mondial 2 valve and 4 valve shims?

    Yes:

    33mm = 2 valve
    29mm = 4 valve

    The QV shims almost never come up on eBAY, except when George Evans posts a kit. He's got the best price on a QV shim set I've found. That's where I bought my set a couple of years back:
