Since it seems like most regions are starting a 2005 spotter thread I thought I should start a new one tonight and what a night it was for spotting...in the rain as well!

1 Black Gallardo on the Airport Island by the south runway
1 Yellow Gallardo in Yaletown by Cactus club
1 blue 550 Maranello with Tubi exhaust (once again, an aural signature to die for)
1 grigio titanio F355 with the chrome wheels (the Fiorano edition with Oregon state plates)

What a good start for you in 2005.

Anyway, a late 80's silver lotus espirit was spotted parking near Richmond Centre this afternoon

Can the car be in B.C.? or just Vancouver and area? I saw a grey 550 maranello going into rogers pass I believe it was. Had no plates for some reason? not even five seconds and it had already passed five cars on the highway.

Poor girl is going to lose her shirt on the G-car... I'm sure it's not a big concern though.

surpringly, the second-hand market here in Canada (or Vancouver at least) hasn't dropped as much as it did in the US. A 6 speed black/yellow Gallardo that sold new for $250K about a year and a half ago recently sold to a second owner at around $235-240K. That's VERY good compared to what's happening south of the border.

That Green Murcielago seems to be in Richmond alot as it was spotted on highway 99 recently and today on #1. I drive along #2 at least twice a day and I seldom see anything nicer than E classes.

VanCity seems to be the Lambo hotbed of Canada. There's quite a few in TO, but its remarkable how frequently you guys spot them out west.

VanCooper, I've noticed the same trend with used Gallardo's in Canada. I wouldnt mind seeing them drop like they are in the US market, because it'll mean I can afford one sooner.

On that note, I think it was KDS that once said something along the lines of "All Lambo's in Canada are priced as if there's a kilo of crack in the trunk".

I remember when I was young I always thought that in the hierarchy of Italian cars there was Lamborghini first and then Ferrari. Maybe this belief is still alive in people's minds and therefore pre-owned Lambo's are pulling higher dollars.

I must say that your quote from KDS made me laugh for a good couple of minutes.
