I have been there and it is awesome in so many ways. The architecture is awesome, the food is fantastic along with the people. i highly recommend this city to anyone whom is looking for a great vacation or short get away.
I agree completely! We have a great place atop the city at Wall Centre (see it @ 1min 36 sec). 5 minutes to Yaletown, 10 minutes to Gastown; good restaurants in every direction...and secure parking for 3 Fcars! When I was 19 we went to Vancouver for a night out. Got completely tanked. Crossed the border back at about 3am with no questions, although I was the only one sober (?) enough to drive. We stalled the car about 100-yards from the border and switched drivers, 2 Hours later I hurled down the side of my parents house from the second floor. Oh Canada!
