    This may be old news but I wasn't aware the original was on dvd.Ran into it in Best Buy.Nice addition to the "car movies" section of my dvd collection.

    I think it's been out for while, as I saw this DVD w/ "Gone in 60 seconds" at Sam's.

    I liked this movie as a whole, but too depressing to watch the last scene. So I like the remake version better (it just sit well w/ me)

    Critics says it reflects the time of '60s in America, but what does that mean? In most movies back then, the main character dies at the end: Easy Rider, Bonnie & Clyde, Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid, etc. I just noticed these characters were all out-laws, maybe it was genre of American Noir. Now, most movies ends w/ happy-ending. Did you notice that?
