Wow! I'd be happy if I got half that. My car is a '79 so it is officially an antique auto this year. I haven't decided yet if I am going to put antique plates on the car yet or not. If I do, I will definately put one of the old plates on Ebay.
jwise, Cool picture. I like how you can see the car's reflection on the building across the street. I was actually suprised at how many F-cars are in Maine. I've seen a TR in Camden. I saw you in your buddy Darrel's car that one time. I took my car up to Ayer automotive in Gardner to have an alignment and carb synch and he had a 246 and a Mondial in the shop. When I came back to collect the car he had another Mondial and what I think was a 330.
I currently have BBI as the tag number on my BB512i. When I get my new tag in June it will read 82BOXER.
In CA I think you might have a problem with getting those two. I read about some old lady who had had "*****" on her license plate for 20 years or so and the DMV wanted her to give it up (the plate, not the *****). Funniest I have seen was a CA plate that I bet no one at the DMV understood the significance of "(HEART SYMBOL) KOYTUS". On an SUV, not Ferrari.
On the Alfa Convertible, ALFRSKO (sic) Coastal Commission Plate On the Ferrari, black plate numeric On the family truckster, Sept. 11 fund numeric plate On the leased Audi, random numeric
the asterisks covering the censored word apparently feels like the DMV. the lady had P U $ $ Y on her plate, because she loved pu$$ycats.
Not having a vanity plate can save your license one day if you happen to intentionally or unintentionally break the law in a very visible area. How many red Ferrari's are in LA for example ? How many red Ferrari's in LA have a plate that says XXX-XXX...........I do not like them for this reason. Too much personal identity for me thanks. Having said that.........here in Calgary a while back there was an attractive, probably middle 40's woman with an 95 or so model year SL500 with a plate that said "WAS HIS".............heh. I wonder if that hindered her attractiveness quotient ?
