Alright so those of you that have had both or experience with both. How do you guys feel about these cars? I am debating on which to get. They would both be used when the time would come. I would be using this for a awesome GT car. I have a f355 and the wife has a Range Rover sport.

    So let the debate go!

I owned a 08 V8 Vantage Roadster which I then traded it in for the 09 DBS. Both were 6 speeds.

Hands down the DBS is much smoother, felt more refined, and frankly felt more like a beast in comparison. I highly recommend the DBS. Once you get your hands on that V12 its no comparison to the V8.

PM me if you have any questions.

I have driven the DBS to the limit (well my limit anyway) at the AM driving school, and own a Vantage. These are two very different cars. The DBS is a GT car and the Vantage more of a sports car. The DBS is faster and handles very well. I don't think it should be compared to the V8 Vantage though. That is apples to oranges. As for the V12 Vantage, that is a proper comparison, and that comparison was best provided by one of my AM instructors "the V12 Vantage is faster than the DBS because it is a DBS without any of the DBS's gentleman's qualities."

I found the DBS to be damn fast and capable, yet refined like my Bentley. Best of both worlds kind of car. The V12 Vantage is more raw. Even the V8 Vantage is more single minded. Depends on what you are looking for.

The car has been reliable and I bought it new in 2009. In my view the car is not very fast or exciting to drive. It is a great cruise car and comfortable. Mine is a convertible which is nice. I have been told the DB series is more sporty. Really depends on what type of car you want.

I like many other cars better. Why did I buy it? it is another niche for my car collection driving experience. I would much rather have a Audi R8 V10 or apples to apples the V8 Audi.

    Good luck whatever you buy.
