VCR - how's it on 'off' Sunday's?

Been to ********** plenty of times, but wondering how the crowd is on 'off' Sundays (1-3rd Sunday of month)?
Half the number of cars? less clubs (eg R32,etc)? I assume the core Fcars will be there.

Usually about 100+ cars with a lot of the usual suspects. Since last Sunday was rained out, I would expect a better than normal turnout tomorrow.

 

I actually enjoy the "off" Sundays more than **********. Less of a circus, but still enough cars and people to be interesting.

 

I haven't been to VCR before and I am contemplating the drive from San Diego. I can't find a co-pilot so probably not, it would be nice to see how it is tomorrow since it will be the first nice Sunday in a while!

 

Great turnout! Lots of nice cars and even a better drive and brunch.

 

I think the "off" weekends are by far the best. Less drama, more time to visit w/people, just more enjoyable. You can actually see the cars....

 

That was an interesting drive with two camera cars filming the action. Too bad I had to cut it short!

 

There were actually 5 camera's. 2 on the one car, 2 other cars with one camera each and a motorcycle with a camera. Should have some good footage.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the motorcycle with the side mounted camera. I am looking forward to the footages. Being at the end of the group I got pretty good exposure both from the last camera car and the motorcycle

 

Is the footage going to be posted? Wow its been ages since I have been out to VCR.

 

You guys should all come down this Sunday. Maybe we can put together a nice drive through the local canyons. Meet early at VCR, around 1hr drive, come back to VCR. Let me know if any of you are interested. I am always game for drives!

 

So, who all is up for this Sunday? It's going to be hard to get up that early, what with Daylight Savings time starting and all. But it's supposed to be a beautiful day!

How about 8:30 AM. I will be there with my GT3. Afterward I am thinking of driving down to Ventura for the Gun Show. If no one shows up, I guess I will be going straight to the gun show

Every week, and the last sunday of the month is the big one.

 

And heck, you could buy coffee at VCR every day of the week

Thanks, We'll try to get there this coming Sunday and being the big one of Sunday(last of the month) what time should we get there to get good parking spots.

 

I say sometime before 8 AM, lot fills up pretty quickly.
