May be a silly question but how does the VDA status (screen with car and parts showing in blue/green/red) move from "Warm up" to "Go" to "Over"? Is this all automatic based on how the car is driven or is there a manual switch that changes it from say "Warm up" to "Go" after say all the components are warm / green?

It's by tire, engine and brake temperatures. Tires are typically the last to go and they (all four) need to be at least 80F before it's a GO.

OK so it's all automatic. If you don't have TPMS though I'm guessing there is no way for the car to know if the tyres are up to temperature so it will not work without TPMS... or are there other tyre temperature sensor in the car.

It's definately an option. On the car's manual, on the chapter dedicated to the TPMS it says something like "if selected/available". Thought sat nav and usb connection where standard, but apparently they're all extras.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.
