I smogged my Maserati and my F430 at one of those little shacks by the DMV on Sahara. It's easy. It takes about 5 minutes, costs about 15 bucks. They plug in the sensor and that's about it. I was standing right along side of them all the time so that nothing weird happened. It was just another car to them. The shacks look crappy but that's all they do... smog. I went early (about the time the DMV opened at 9) and I didn't have to wait.
I guess it depends on what year you have? I use the dealer Ferrari/Wynn because it's a '95 and I don't have the little plug in.. I'm sure you could take it to the Lambo dealer if you need piece of mind, the Ferrari dealer only charged 25.00
