I started a thread about repairing Veglia Speedo sensors in the 308 section some time ago. For easier access i collected everything in a single web page, explaining the diagnose and repair for each sensor type.
Replacements are getting more expensive and are difficult to source by now, so it makes good sense to try a repair first if you have a broken one.

    Cars using these sensors include the 365 GT4, 208/308 GT4, 208/308 GTB, 208/308 GTS, 208 Turbo, 308 GTBi/GTSi/QV, 348 TB, 348 TS, 400i, 412, 465GT, 512 BB, 512 BBi, 512TR, F355, F40 and Mondial.

What a beautiful piece of work Adrian. Precise and well documented. A hard copy has gone straight to my files. Thanks for putting this on a wider distribution. Congratulations.

    Adrian,
Suddenly, I feel left out... no mention in the list above of our 328 applications, but the Type 2 sensor sure looks just like the one I replaced in my car last year... Is that not correct?

Because the 328 is not included in post #1, this valuable thread did not come up when I searched, so I stumbled upon it when perusing the Technical Q&A forum... but it would be great (if this does apply to the 328 models) to have it listed.

(although, now that I've polluted the thread with my post, I guess it will come up in future searches for "328 speedo"....)

Thanks for your work, on behalf of all us Ferraristas who benefit from it!

    Tim,

sorry, my fault, it was not my intention to drop the 328 from the list! Thanks for spotting this!

    All the best,
