I knew sooner or later discriminating pictures of me taping will post. PLEASE don't judge my painting skills based on my taping skills... LOL ,OK back to reality.
What a hoot! Enjoyed the Friday drive into Lake Mead (without going underwater or catching on fire). Here are a few pics: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Learned that 3Forty8's avatar is "Bubbles"... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
After driving that long at speed while immersed in fuel fumes (kids, don't try this at home!), even lunch at a holenthewall tasted OK! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alas, my Ferrari paupers' run time was limited...but I did manage some fully auto machine-gun shooting, some VIP club action, a little indoor skydiving (got a DVD of it!), and only ended up down $650 at the craps tables (Wynn sux, by the way, long live the Palm!). Then I got a little work done at the international shopping center convention (oops!). Vegas. What do you expect?! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did "The Moon" and the Playboy Club at The Palm...bottle service was ridiculous at The Moon and I got the dealer palming her hole card at the Playboy Club, which caused quite a comotion. Caught a dealer at the Wynn taking winning craps bets as if they had lost. Got paid and got an apology from the casino on that one. Caught a dealer at the Palm taking not one, but TWO winning black jack bets as if I couldn't count. Just got my bets and winnings there. Caught a pickpocket at Tao. She was a little Asian girl working the crowd with a white girl in a short, tight white "dress" if you can call a yard of cloth that. White girl started talking to me while the Asian chick put her arm around me like we're best friends. I grabbed her hand just as she had my dummy wallet 3/4 of the way out of my back pocket. Her white friend yelled at me when she saw that I had caught them, then they both ran into the crowd. That was the most excitement at that crappy little club all night long. Note: all gentlemen should carry a dummy wallet. Keep your real money in your belt or sock or wherever, not in your dummy wallet. Gives you lots of options on how to handle muggers and pickpockets.
It was great finally getting to meet the legendary No Doubt In addition to drivers from all over Southern California and Vegas we had F-Chatter ND from Alabama, J.D. from Canada and co-pilots Ben from Indiana, Cathy from Toronto and Ben from Boston!
That was fun! Nice to meet everyone. And I learned that to get into the "good" Vegas clubs now, that you need Limo Brett. Vegas has sure changed in the 3 years since I was last there (has it been that long?!). So here's a cheers to Limo Brett.
Thanks Steve; we felt really welcomed by the Vegas crew! Great guys and gals, great cars and a fantastic drive the second day getting us up out of the heat of the valley. Next time we're in town I need to take you all out for a drink.
Yeah, there's that, too. but if you do play at Vegas, just be sure to not play the fool. #1: watch the dealer's card hand until all cards are dealt...and only *then* look at your own cards. #2: watch the stick man and your bets at craps...and *listen* for the number rolled by the dice instead of watching the dice #3: carry a 2nd wallet...a "dummy" wallet. Keep your real money somewhere safe. Do *not* leave business cards or ID in your dummy wallet. #4: don't accept drinks from strangers #5: don't accept rides from strangers #6: VIP rooms mean that you pay thousands for the same thing that everyone else is paying $20...they are ego-driven cons #7: if your mind ever says "I'm going to win my money back" what you are really admitting is that you want to give your entire bank account to someone more needy and deserving than yourself, like a casino #8: don't take odds on weak numbers (e.g. 4, 5, 9, 10) at craps #9: always hit on a soft 17 or lower at blackjack
I need to return the Motorola radio but I do not remember who loanded it to us. If you will PM me with an address I will mail it back. All I remember it was a red 360 Coupe. That should narrow it down to 3 of them, all with challenge wheels
I believe two of the red ones were Stradale's which would leave Justin as the 360 with challenge wheels. Try pm'ing jchoice.
Yeah..and can you send back the cash I left at the Black Jack table...Actually, I appreciate you remembering the color of my car as opposed to the color of the girl at the club that 'looted' way more than the cost of a two-way radio...lol. Good times!
You will have to talk to the casino about sending you back your money. That is why I only pay poker. As for the girl, they were way more then a motorola.
