So I'm replacing ALL the hoses on my car and I have "6AN" 8mm inner diameter hose for the charcoal canister/fuel vapor canister.

    And it's slightly too big.

I'm not seeing a 5AN size just a 4AN and of course that's too small.

I'm assuming it needs 5AN because... it's my luck.

Anyone have an source for 5AN braided hose that doesn't cost 40 bucks every 12 inches?

AN hoses are not needed on a vapor recovery system. Plain fuel hose is more than sufficient and fuel hose is available in 6 and 7mm.

5AN is 5/16". Lots of options out there in 5/16" fuel line. Belmetric sells 7.5mm cloth overbraid German made fuel line for less than $5 per foot.

FYI, Belmetric is my goto source for metric fasteners, hose clamps and other metric items.

Same here. They are accurate, fast, good stock levels, and reasonably priced.
