Vent window rust

If this can happen to a guy like me, who is - current situation apparently notwithstanding - meticulous about the care of his Ferrari and aware of this vent-window-area rust proclivity, it can sneak up anyone.

Regularly peel back your window seal lower left corner to make sure water isn't collecting there. I know about this vulnerability yet it got me.

Here's my interim repair. Grinded it down with a dremel grinding stone. A few spots suffered pitting all the way through. Used plastic metal to fill and rebuild. Color-rite base, topcoat, and clear to finish.

Decent fix for now, esp in an inconspicuous spot covered by the window louver.
