There is no CD-Player to choose. Ventilated seats work well in mine.

I thought I had heard there was a option to get a CD Changer for either the glove box or the trunk ?

If they have an iPod input, perhaps you can load up an iPod or iPhone with the music you want.

Ahh, that brings back memory of the late 80's to early 90's.

I do a lot of long distance driving so to kill time I enjoy listening to some old CDs that I have not heard in a long time. If anyone knows the answer please let me know. Thanks

Predecessor of vinyl for music !

Seriously as noted above more likely is either ipod lead or bluetooth or cd to pc to memory stick to car via its usb (confirmed in previous posts)

In case you do not know this feature yet, for example the Spotify App can bring you back the old CD's electronically on any smartphone. Furthermore, you can on this App also generate your "Best of selection" of your CD's, then connect the smartphone with your car and pump up the volume on your JBL boxes installed in your Lusso!

    Spotify is terrible sound quality.
    Bluetooth is terrible sound quality.
    Mp3s are terrible sound quality.
MQA is not at all as advertised.

16 bit CDs are the only sure way to get a good sound, unless you buy and download the actual session files. Streaming with Qobuz is still a ways away.

I would stick with the engine music :)

The F12 had the CD/DVD-ROM player as a free option (I ordered it). That was probably the end of the road for cd players in Ferraris.

Aren't CD just .wav files? if you can read a .wav from any support (e.g. USB) you should get the same quality I guess. A FLAC file should also be OK I guess.

This is true...an uncompressed .wav file should sound the same whether it's on a CD or a file being played through some other media playback device like a phone. The breakdown in quality is Bluetooth connections. I'm not sure with a car stereo if you could tell the difference in sound quality between CD playback and the same .wav files on a phone device streamed through Bluetooth or not. The difference would be negligible at best.

I spoke to two dealerships one said there was a CD/DVD Changer option for the trunk as you stated and the other one said there was not. Thank you for your reply.

Yes ... 16 bit wav on CD can also be from USB if you have the CD and rip it, or if you download the files hi res at 24 bits.
