    I have not seen a picture of a 246 in Bleu Chiaro metallizzato.
    So if I think mine is, can I send a painted part somewhere for verification?

    yes, no problem. Send me paint sample and I can compare with my original paint sample from the early 70ties.
    Here a scan for you, maybe that helps already.

    PS: The scan doesn`t reflect the real colour, sorry, it`s actually much more green in it.
