I recently got some make up 1:43 ferrari's, and I must tell you all, they are better than BBR!!!!!!!!! Being longtime BBR collector, I had to see them and i'm convinced!! Better detail, and NO flaws at all Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I strongly agree with you Moriaan1. I "had" a BBR F40 "Pilot" version some time ago and sold it without question when i saw these Make up F40 "pilot" versions out. When i got the car in the mail I immediately saw the huge difference in details that the Make up had over the BBR version. Just the center wheel lock nut itself on the Make up version was substantially more realistic then the BBR. I love BBR models but i must say that the Make up Ferrari's are quickly becoming a top, hand built favorite of mine. Here is my Pilot version (Make up) By the way Moriaan, did you get your Make up models from "Miniwerks?" Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is a rare model (die cast) of mine i thought i would share.... Not a hand built but pretty rare nonetheless.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
402AM was done by CMA and MB.He did 1 for the owner and 1 for himself. Here is a big model I did(Monza) from Monaco 1932.The Pochers still look pretty good after 35 years! Tom Tanner/Scale Designs Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are some "Art Model" line of Ferrari's that i believe are pretty rare.... 500TRC (clear body)= 40th Anniversary of Ferrari 166MM (clear body)= 50th Anniversary of Ferrari 166MM - Winner 1949 Lemans.. By the way Moriaan, did you get your Make up models from "Miniwerks?"[/QUOTE] Yep, Mike's the best! I bought them in his ebayshop for good prices. Shipment was cheap, the trip from Mike to Europe took 4-5 days, and thats really fast! I also have several BBR F40's, The Pilot BBR is not as good as the Make Up, but you have to consider that it was made in the early 1990's. Back then the BBR's were the best available. Doubted a bit, but I will keep the BBR's too. It took a long time to get them.. Here are some of my favourite BBR's The superfast and 250GT prince Bernhard are in my collection since 1990, the 375AM came later. Love the le phoenix'es Wolfman! They are really special! I have that MiniDelta P3 kit that you show. Its a very well done model.I also have the Ultimate P4 and Dino 206. They are almost if not as good. Go to www.kaz43.fotki.com and look under Ferrari Expo show Chicago 2006 for photos of mine and other models. I ran a model Company called Scale Designs making 1/24 resin models until July of this year. We still sponsor the Ferrari Expo model contest every year along with Revell/Monogram models. It will be April 12th 2008 next year At Continental Ferrari/Maserati in Hinsdale,Illinois(Chicago). Tom Tanner/Scale Designs

Hi Guys, A couple of months ago there was some discussion on these models. I finally took some pics of the 3 I have (Apologies for the poor pics). They are indeed rather crude and it's hard to imagine they came from the same master builder of his magnificent and world famous 1/10 models! But that doesn't matter to me since I like them for their 'charm'. Anybody have the story behind them? I got them quite a few years ago. De Michele Conti 1:32 scale ferrari's are crude, but coming from the master, they are rather special, and rare. They were made 20 years back, and signed! Allways a pleasure to see the work of Patrice de Conto. Have seen 4 of his masterpieces in person, simply breathtaking!
