I got the displaycase from a dutch auctionsite. The original owner had it custombuilt, and kept his traincollection in it. The door has rubber seals and its 100% dustproof! I keep it closed, but when you open the door......the resin-smell of a 100 models is fantastic! Hans
Nice kabinet - they are not easy to find - and-the smell when the cabinet is opened is worth a lot. In beginning of December i bought a 512TR in Germany - after 2 weeks I found a "Wunderbaum" with vanilla smell under the seat, and its nearly out now.
The 512TR Looks great! Like Candy-cane with vanillaflavor.....(lol). A TR and a Dino They must be totally different. congrats! Hans
great combination of cars. The TR is a highwaycar, and fabulous GT. The dino is a fanastic litle runaround. Both belong to my design-favourites.
i k now its a repost but they are rare and hard to find and i am also happy to own them 3 Trinity models 643f1, 312B, 312 B3. I know the 643 and the 312B are a one of build and the 312B3 was build 2 times the other model of that one was sold in December and i bought mine in february from an auction house yes the one that was on Ebay. Last year I got a damnaged daytona by Carlo Brianza from a fellow member. I restored it with the help from the brianza company for some parts. It turned out really nice, An airbrush, glue and some filler did the job! Thanks again!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alex, Where did you get the Trinities? I think I saw them on an auctioninventory of H&H?? If so, I think you got a decent price.... They are great! Hans
HI i bought this a few years ago from model car in italy its made by mds racing, its a 1/43rd scale model of a ferrari 212E protipo,i sure it a resin model. dont know much about the car itself. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

originally, the car came with a plexiglas-cover, and it was mounted on a wooden block, with a mark, reading Daytona 365 GTB, if i do remember correct: maybe you can build the showcase yourself or ask the brianza-factory for it. best el
Its in a new all plexiglass displaycase that I got from Brianza. They don't make the old ones, with wooden block anymore, I prefer the old ones ,but this is also nice. You are right, the early Brianza's all came with a mark like the VINplate of the 1:1 ferrari's. It had the buildnr. the type and signature of mr. Brianza. That mark can't be reproduced, fortunately the buildnumber is also written on the chassisplate of the cars. I recently got a 275GTB shortnose from Canada, its the bleack one posted a few posts earlier. It has the original case and plate. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are right Hans i have bought them from H&H auction on 26 of February they where also listed on ebay. I had put my maximum bid so high just to be sure to have them Alex
Hans next week i will send a hiro white metal 312t3 1/24 scale to PLM studio's to be built i am already looking forwards to the result, that will be a rear model. Alex

Nice 1/43 models. I have a few of them. My main scale is 1/24th now. I have almost every Ferrari/Alfa/Maserati done in 1/24th. I also have a large collection of 1/43rd Ferraris and Alfas. The Hiro's are the best(better quality than Feelling 43rd for less money). Its hard to ignore the Hiro kits if you like quality models, no matter what scale you collect. I wonder what Looksmart is doing to the BBR/MR business ?? I think half of them are based on BBR/MR kits anyway. The quality is very close. Looksmart is better quality then the older BBR factory builts. TT/SD
BBR=Gasoline=arena MR=Looksmart=autobarn BBR has started Gasoline as a cheaper range made in China. I don't know if thats true, but its possible. Besides 1:43 they are making very nice 1:18's like CMC and Exoto. They are made in China, probably in the same or related factories, building style and detail are stunning, but pretty equal. MR states that the Looksmart-range is made in China, which is not allways the case. I know(from a reliable source) there are Looksmarts that are made in Italy at MR. A lot of Looksmartmodels are made from old MR molds. You buy the same old MR modell for a $100 less in a new Looksmartbox! This discourages a lot of traditional MR buyers ( me too). Autobarn is a range made for an american retailer called ari, he mainly sells on ebay using the name Autex. A very concerning development is the production of limited editions by BBR and MR. Colors, dealers, autoshows, race-livery, every single version is sold in a limited edition of a certain car. Dozens of 599's Fxx'es, Enzo's that are all made from 1 single mold. I stopped collecting these. I only buy "the things" these companies do best, the classics! Both, MR and BBR have started a new development in 1:43. Opening doors and panels. Detail is incredible and craftmanship in building is phenomenal! Recently my attention for new ferrari's has shifted to the " new" japanese company called Make up. Quality of Make Up is better, price is cheaper! (and I am collecting BBR since 1988!)
