Jason....this is awesome; I can't imagine what you will be doing when you're in your early 20s. Any idea of the timing on SUnday for this run?? begin and end?? I will try to get mr. red FordGT to come along as well...
This is starting to all come together!! Here is the place where we will be eating- http://www.thegristmill.net/ It is about $15 per person to eat which is very good. The special arrangment for parking has already been setup so we don't need to worry. I need to have a list for the resteraunt of who is 100% IN and how many people you will be coming with and what car. Thank you again for everyone support and I look forward to this sunday
9:30 meet at garage. I won't post the address to the garage but I will PM everyone an address right around the corner and then drive to the garage. 11:45-12 we will arrive at the restaurant.
Count me in with my 328 GTS . I may bring my Fiancée , when do you need the final count of people ? Thanks MT
Also, we should definitely get a run going to the garage- from NYC/NJ. Jason, are the "garage cars" going to join in the CT run?? If it's part of the surprise, disregard the question
Is the garage close to Farmington as well? This sounds like a great event, might consider it if it's close to the Marriott or the Old Farms Inn. (not sure if an exotic will be my ride) in which case, I wouldn't crowd the field a la the eagle talon did at a NYC Gumball lol I will just be in the G35 coupe running my police scanners hehe
Just so we're clear on who is coming, we've got: NJ: (1) ClydeM - Ferrari 308 (2) JTMGALLARDO - Gallardo (3) 993 guy - 993 NY: (4) Ghost - Gallardo (5) white viper - Viper CT: (6) davem - Mondial (7) traimpz348 - 348 (8) icantdrv55 - 328 (9) musicman102357 - 328 Unknown (please let us know): (10) sunsetZ51 - Vette (?) (11) lamarossa - Supra (?) The NJ / NY crew will definitely have fun getting up to the rendezvous spot. Am wondering what the best place to meet is. Happy to set my place as the first meetup point? Jason's got a good number of things planned for the morning so this should be a lot of fun. Best.
So people can plan, note that this is the Day's Agenda (Jason, feel free to correct if I misinterpreted our discussion yesterday evening): 7:30 am - New York depature 9:15 am - Covene at Collector garage 10:30 am - Depart for drive with "collector" 12:00 pm - Break for Lunch (noted earlier) 1:30pm - Depart back for NY / NJ 3:00pm - 4:00pm - Arrive NY / NJ

Vinny - any chance we can get a preliminary weather check for Sunday? Looks good from what I can tell.

I can't wait for this..... it's only Tuesday, and it's been a long week already! Looks like many of the NY/NJ contingent are planning to get together and caravan to the garage, so I was wondering if any of the central CT crowd would be interested in getting together and doing the same thing...? I know we don't have too many details about the location yet, but just thought I'd get the gears turning, so to speak. Anybody interested? I'm in Vernon / Glastonbury area.
Hello Everybody, I want to join the event, but afraid that there will be a drop of moisture from the sky and it will be canceled. I am just wondering: why did you guys buy your magnificent cars? Is it to satisfy your ego or pick up the girls? I bought mine to drive and therefore it is driven on any weather in any direction I want to go. My car (Ferrari Maranello 575M) was lucky to get me as an owner.... If all of you are sure that you will roll out of bed...then I am in.
Spoken like a woman who really knows how "drive 'em till the wheels roll off." So far the weather looks good so I'm in. Heck, I'm in regardless! This will serve as a great introduction Ludmilla. Are you joining us from Jersey or New York?
