I hope that I'm not over-stepping my boundaries here but I want to speak not only as a "Ferrari Follower" but as a veteran of WW2. I did nothing of note during the war and I wear the title rather loosely but getting close to 80 ( not miles per hour ) gives me a view that might be different than those younger than I. Last weekend's drive to the veteran's home in Port Orchard was a thing of quality by quality people and gave the vets something more durable than any amount of money or words because their experiencing the sincere thoughtfulness of " Those Ferrari Guys " will remain with them for years.
This could be an annual event that would keep the vets looking forward instead of back into their history.

    Bob,

Hey we missed you! I was sorry to hear you weren't able to make it! I agree with you! The best part of the day for me, and the one that will last in my memory, was seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter of the people I was able to take on rides. What a great feeling for doing something so simple!! I'd like to see this as an annual event also.

One vet that I took for a ride stated that people that seldom leave there room came out to get rides. what a great way to give back! I hope we can do it again in the future.

Thanks very much for all these comments. Be assured that I will do everything in my power to set it up again for next summer.
In the meantime, anyone who wants to come over on a whim, just let me know & I'll arrange it for us to take a few more folks out.
