LONDON, England (AP) Starlet Sebastian Vettel is hoping that Toro Rosso's impressive form at the European Grand Prix was not a one-off. Things are looking up at Toro Rosso, according to their rising star Sebastian Vettel. The German, who will be driving for sister squad Red Bull next season, shone in qualifying and came home sixth. His team-mate Sebastien Bourdais made it into the top 10 in qualifying for the first time and looked more like the man who dominated Champ Cars in America in recent years. Vettel said: "It must be the target to repeat what we achieved [in Valencia] but it's going to be very, very tough. We did a very good job, we made no mistakes. "It looks like we are finding our way more and more with the car. We have a strong package and I believe we can do some good races. "But top 10 would be phenomenal for the rest of the season to get some more points." The team's improved performance in Valencia, certainly relative to Red Bull, was partly put down to their engine. Whereas Red Bull use down-on-speed Renault engines, Toro Rosso are powered by Ferrari V8s, among the strongest in Formula One. Mark Webber found his Red Bull sluggish around the high-speed Valencia street circuit and believes the difference between the two engines was a yawning four tenths of a second per lap. But Vettel was quick to point out that Toro Rosso's chassis is starting to work on all types of tracks and should excel at Belgium's sweeping Spa circuit, where the next round of the championship is held a week on Sunday. "Belgium should be a circuit that should suit us very well and we will see," he told Autosport.com. "Usually fast corners and fast tracks are better for us. [In Valencia] there are a lot of low speed corners as well so in the end we were very competitive, and that makes us very confident for the future. "But as I say, keep the feet on the ground, try to learn and improve all the time and then we see where we are in Spa." Meanwhile, Bourdais, who has yet to be confirmed in the team for next season, is looking to the future with renewed confidence after his showing in Spain. "Things are finally starting to come together and go in the right direction," the Frenchman told the newspaper L'Equipe. "And as a result, the pleasure is finally coming back. It was really a very good weekend, without doubt my best since the beginning of the season. "It's a huge morale boost; I had good feelings, I was able to attack. It's good to experience that."
