says alot for the high tech traction control and stability control our crappy australian car makers use...
So, you are suggesting that if you are a law enforcement officer, you should ignore miscreant family members?
Exactly! 12 years ago, I was coming back from the range, and I had a few of my guns in the car. Cops pull me over in StKilda for doing a left turn after 11pm. Yes, there! They asked me what was I doing. I told them I was looking at hookers... Then they asked what's in the metal box in the back seat. I told them ammo. That's when they freaked and asked me if I have guns in the car, and I said, yes, under the blanket in the front seat. They ask "Are they cleared?". Me: "No". They take the guns away and my licence and come back 10 minutes later giving me the guns back, with the .357 Magnum unloaded though! I ask them for the bullets, and they reluctantly give them back - they wanted to keep the 160g hollow points LOL Before they left, they thought they would act tough and said "We will only ask you this once and be careful how you answer - Why do you have loaded guns in the car?". I replied "The legislation states that a gun should be loaded as soon as it leaves the safe and it should always be loaded in the company of the person". He just got a blank look and left
I hate guns and the thought of someone wandering around with a 357 Magnum loaded with hollow points is just horrendous.
blah...looks bogus http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa81hd_deadliest-warrior-ira-vs-taliban_shortfilms
The whole show is bogus but it is interesting to see the testing of the different weapons and amusing to see the conclusion that the 'software' generates.
I had to go through extensive testing, including psychological, before I was granted the concealed handgun licence. Only a handful of people in Aust have it.
I've got the Smith&Wesson .357 mag, a Colt .38Special, a CZ 75 Compact 9mm and a Browning Vest Pocket S/A. The CZ is loaded with HydraShocks (supposed to go through bullet proof vests) and hollow point silver bullets (in case I meet a werewolf ) That's what I normally carry, with the Browning as the back up. The Browning is small enough to fit in the pocket of a suit vest. Yet it has 6 S/A shots magazine. The .357 mag is for fun only. I load it with explosive rounds at the range, and when I fire it it blows flames out the sides and you can feel the shockwave through the concrete floor. Also, I have to fire it with my mouth open, 'cause if my mouth is closed, the shockwave makes me feel like I got punched in the teeth. After I empty the barrell a couple of times, I have to let it cool down as it jams from the heat expansion. It would be useless in the real world, because if you shoot someone, it would blow half their body away. For those of you that have never fired a high powered weapon, the adrenalin rush is similar to driving a supercar. You won't understand it until you experience it.
Just in case he was being followed by a google camera car..... http://www.geekologie.com/2010/01/picking_up_hookers_on_google_s.php busted! Image Unavailable, Please Login
