    Re the "GTO"
    It's 250 GTO Favre replica, based on 250 GTE #4003
    This started as a "genuine" Favre recreation but was unfinished at the time of his death. The guy who use to make the bodies for Favre rescued it in lieu of debt and finished it. The car was sold to a UK owner and then sold via a dealer to Florida in December 2000. It came back to the UK in 2005 from CA and was then sold again.

    What a fantastic day had by all !!
    Perfect weather.
    The venue provided an amazing backdrop to a record 130 plus cars on the lawn.
    Very high member attendance and the quality of cars, both classic, modern and in the judged Concorso was exceptionally high.
    Say what you want about the Victorian committee but we showed once again that we can provide a world class event attended by very high numbers with very positive feedback.

    Congratulations on a successful event Mark. I like the fact it was advertised for public attendance. Were there any issues with the public attending, regarding touching of cars, or draping themselves over them for pictures? I certainly don't have those concerns up here, but some of our members are very concerned about it. I've suggested using those red velvet rope type barriers as used in movie premiers, for example, to have a 'look but please don't touch' message to appease some of our members.
