VBD is an awesome show. I heard about the new lotus eposide, but i had forgetten the date it was airing, thanks for posting! Can't wait!
I am so glad they have added another marque! I am still hoping to see Mercedes-Benz, Auto Union, and Bugatti.
I guess that since I picked up an 88 Esprit last summer, I'm now a "Lotus freak"....=) Cool, thanks for the heads up!

I've only seen the alfa episode but it was great so I'll be tuning in for this one as well. Will they be showing the other shows as well (like porsche?)
The Ferrari episode is still my favorite. Turn up the volume on that one and it makes the hairs on the back of your neck standup. I just checked the website and they dont have the Lotus one for sale yet. http://www.victorybydesign.com/ I like Alain De Cadenet and the way he does the car videos but the classic video clip has to be the one below and this doesnt involve any cars [warning this video clip contains naughty language] http://www.grossfamily.net/vids/ohmygodSpitfire%20pass.wmv
Great show last night! Now I want a Lotus 23B Did anyone else catch that the Lotus 49 spewed out some rusty water out of it's pipes onto the road? Are the DVD's longer with additional footage?
The video should be much longer than the aired version. I too, was frustrated by the amount of commercial breaks. Like anyone watching the Lotus program really cares what type of jeans Dale Jr. is wearing....pfffft. I blame Canada.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
At the end when they were thanking people for the use of their cars, we saw some of the cars being tested by Alain that were not highlighted really (like the Elan), so it is obvious that there is more footage out there.
It was a good episode though, I kind of liked it more than the Fcar one to be honest. We're all so used to Ferrari, around it/them so much; it was nice to see a make I know less about. Plus, Jimmy Clark was the man, and he's obviously a big part of the heritage even though they didn't have any clips of him, etc. on VbD.
It was good but I agree to many commercials however I watched it on tivo so I just fast forwarded. Thanks for the link to that video it was very funny
