Thanks for explaining Manu. I think a lot of us were confused by your original post saying:

"The 430 doesn't win at all.
It has not a good quality."

In the video, as you say, it is quite clear that you are having to back off a few times to avoid overtaking your brother. (I presume as that would have made a less interesting video?)

With P-Zero Corsas on both, it will be very interesting to see a flat out race between you!
My money would be on the F430, good as the CS is...

I made a mistake, i mean that the video hasn't a good quality.
The 430 instead is fantastic, but to go fast as the cs you have to drive it in another way.
With the cs you can make the chicane in acceleration at 8500 rpm without problem of understeer, with the 430 you have to use a gear more, 3rd instead 2nd, so the car is progressive and with a lot of engine it can go as the cs.

That was a track very small were cs is like at home, so the 430 has non to make mistake and use a gear more in every slow chicane, that's only a problem of weight.

In Monza is different, the engine of the 430 helps it very well

Manuma, did the f430 driver lift of on the straights, or not? There are two schools running i think, "he did lift of" and "he did not lift of". Theres only you and your brother that realy knows.
And if you did lift of why?

Manuma, would love to see another video when you get the Corsas mounted on the 430. Bet you had fun, didn't you? Btw, did you have the windows down on the 430?

It was the first time I drove hardly the car so I wanted to stay behind my brother to see differences.
I wanted to see how I had to drive to go as fast as the CS.

At 2.30 minute of the vid you can see how fast I could pass my brother only for my engine because we made as good as the other the bend before the acceleration.

Thursday i'll go on Monza with corsa's but there will be only friend without Ferrari, only a GT3 mk2 and a Noble M400.

    I had the window closed.

Was'nt trying to offend anyone, merely that to make objective remarks about how one car behaves vs another, one would expect a similar test with similarly skilled drivers.

If you must see a vid of me driving, i attach the following. I'm driving the Gunmetal elise number 925, 2nd car on the grid.

Download the clip at the ftp site ftp://ftp.eliserepublic.com/

Copy the file "LC 2005 R4 1st lap.wmv" & paste on your computer

Once again, apologies if I caused offence.

    Hi Manu!!

Great video!! Thank for sharing with us.

I'll try to do the same when i'll go to Ascari track in a few weeks...

I was in Spa Ferrari days and it was wonderfull. There were about 15 Stradales running in the track, 2xF40, 1xF50 and 1 enzo... total more than 150ferraris.

When I was running in Spa, my CS with the originals Pirelli PZero Corsa Asimetric in a few laps they were warming up very much... Maybe I was a wrong pressure...

What pressure do you use to put in the CS or 430 with that's pirellis on tarck???

    TRanks.!

while the video was ok , i feel 1 or 2 laps would of been enough to see. i didn't need to have to download 83mb to understand what they were doing. it would of been better if the guys behind the wheel were trying to drive the cars to their potential rather than stepping the tail out at every opportunity. when you are on the track , cars deserve to be driven quickly and smoothly as possible. leave the circle work etc for car parks and skid pans. i would of prefered to see 1 lap and be told the different lap times. i am very interested in lap times of the 2 cars on the same track with the same driver . when my 430 shows in september i will be comparing lap times with my CS and advising.

    rock on

Great i am looking forward to seeing your video, and i am sure we will all cast a critical eye over your efforts;)
Personaly i like to see any video that anyone has taken the time to post for us to see, in fact i hope the guy posts a video of his enzo that some of us may never see driven on the road or track, he can just be tootling along as long as he is kind enough to post it:D

    Great vid Manu.

Mind if I ask how you mounted the camera in the car? Didn't look like it was hand held by a passenger.

The camera was fixed with a support made by Manfrotto.

The CS and the 430 with different tyres made the same time lap at Misano track, but it was my first time on the 430 so I could do better. Both 1.29.

If you want Enzo vids you can find them here:

    www.homepage.mac.com/manuma

The one made in Imola traack is not very beautiful, I was the faster but only because I had the Enzo.

The one made in Fiorano I learn to drive quite well and I think it's fantastic.

    Manu.

What do you think of 360CS pressure for the track???

I tried in cold with 1.7 in both. And another time with 1.8 front and 1.6 rear. But I'm not sure what is the best?

    Thanks.

I used 2.0 both I found it the better way on tracks.
But everyone could think another pressure is better because everyone drive in different ways.

Manu, great videos, thanks for posting them. It must be great to track an enzo, and great that you are willing to. More power to you. What happened to your helmet dude? Keep the posts coming, I would love to see more of the enzo on the track from roadside. That one high speed blast caught from trackside was awesome. How much faster is the enzo than the cs around the circuit?

In Fiorano you can go without helmets, you have to use it only in a spyder.
In Fiorano the official time is 4.5 sec faster the Enzo.
But to go very fast you have to put off the asr and you must to be able to feel the car sliding.

With the cs instaed is quite easy go fast because it is a race car like the Enzo but without the power that makes you sliding

Yes my friend, can and should might be different things though!
my god it must be an amazing feeling to drift a million dollar car at full throttle. Again, more power to you for being willing to hang it out there.
I could see in the video how much easier it was to get on the throttle with the cs. Price and status aside, which do you prefer driving on the track?
