Finally this is true, Top Gear and Murciélago LP670-4SV! Please Lamborghini, make these only rear wheel drive...thank you, like the old good Diablos were....
According to Top Gear its' track time is exactly identical to a stock Ferrari Enzo. So even though it can do 0-60 in 3.2 secs, it's no faster than the Enzo. Bearing in mind the Enzo's 0-60 time is 3.6 seconds.
Depends on who tests it; 0-60 is a very difficult thing to repeat every time; lowest times were 3.1 0-60, and the higher range is 3.6 0-60. The Enzo is already 6 years old; with old tire technology, transmission is slower then that of the SV, and suspension isn't as advanced as it is now.
Possibly one of the best sounding cars ever made...and I thought the LP640 sounded awesome. This is just on a whole new level.
Yep, The SV sounds incredible. But what comes when Murciélago's follower will introduce? Lamborghini has allways done "a bit better" than the last car has been, like Miura -> Countach -> Diablo -> Murciélago..... When people thought they have seen the limit, Lamborghini has allways done it, a better supercar. .....The name, engine, gearbox....... I can't wait.
next super lambo will come in 2011 it will be still V12, 700 hp around, CF monocoque (more likely) or alluminum chassis and will be ...awesome, once again
Carbon Fibre Monocoque? If this is the final chassis, the price will be a lot higher. And how about the repairing if happens a small but hard enouhg crash..... I hope they will do the alluminum chassis, however Lamborghini not suppose to be McLaren F1.... What is others view about this?
