I've checked out http://www.spec7.org/videos.htm - only the 1.8 in clockwise is up there. Does anyone have another video at Texas World Speedway, clockwise (reverse) in the 2.9 configuration?

I'm contemplating going to the event in Mid-June and want to get an idea of what it looks like at speed.

Which event is it, it's possible the SCCA will do the 2.9 CW for the first time ever in July. If so, I might want to do another event to get use to it.

The Driver's Edge has an event June 12th-13th and I'm itching to get back on the track.

I thought someone, maybe Dave?, wrote up a quick summary regarding this configuration. I know that this weekend, TWS, clockwise, 1.8 will be run in the Nasa event. But I'd like to see the 2.9. Heck, even with verbiage, I can get the lines down right in my head.

NASA always runs the 2.9 CCW.

David Moore knows the 2.9 CW.

Strange. Might be SCCA? Looking at calendar now. Just going by word of mouth from Joe (Flamingo Automotive) who will be running the CRX out there.

I've been reading up on David Moore's / Scott's comments regarding the CW configuration. Should be interesting, I think I'll try to make it out to this one while I still have tread on the RA1's.

Actually, after I checked, NASA isn't at TWS until September. SCCA is running the 1.8 CW both this weekend and July 4th (although considering 2.9 CW).

Drivers Edge is doing the 2.9 clockwise next month, and I will be there instructing...with the 550 (unless it is absurdly hot).

Randy, I know the 2.9 CW extremely well, and actually prefer it to the "normal" CCW direction. IMO, it flows better, and, to me, is more fun & less work.

I do not know of any videos of it CW, however.

If you'd like, I can take you out in the Instructor group once or twice to learn it? I dunno what the instructor assignments are until that morning...

Thanks for the offer Dave. If the instructor group is first out, I'd like to get a few laps in. Probably three at best to get the lines just right. I can see it all in my head, but at speed, that's a different story.

I'm not sure if I'm going to the TDE event or not. Once I make arrangements - hopefully this weekend - on a place to crash, I'll sign up before it gets filled up. If you know anyone who had a floor to crash on, let me know. Otherwise... I'd really hate to stay in the Manor House. Eh... sometimes that place creeps me out. I've stayed in some rooms that are just fine, and others that I feel they just drug a dead body or two out of. Besides, the extra ~120+ for the two nights isn't appealing either.
