Video: Ferrari 430 Scuderia vs Koenigsegg CCX 25-190 mph

A bit pointless race,might as well put an M3 against Scuderia anxiously waiting to find out which is quicker....

 

Great vid as usual Gustav. I, for one, enjoy seeing different cars race regardless of foresight for the outcome. Its great way to appreacite the different levels of performance.

Great video. I wish to see Enzo instead of SCUD. I like the Koeniqseqq a lot, but dissapointed by the sound of the car.....

 

I'm not surprised by the outcome, but both cars are amazing.

Had no idea the CCX would pull that quick on a 430...WOW!!

 

wow, the CCX leaves the Scud standing. would not have thought it would kill it like that.
we need a CCX vs Veyron

 

What did you expect.......it's about 100kgs lighter than the Scuderia with an engine that produces 806 bhp, abt. 300 bhp more than the Scud's engine.

If not mistaken that´s a CCX evo, upgraded version, 892 hp. Saw it on a trackday 2 weeks ago, sound is SO loud, my CS felt quiet in comparison.

 

Sound when you stand 10 feet from it down a straight is LOUD. Compare a CS with a standard 360. Then compare CCX with the CS and you get a feeling for the volume. However it´s not as beautiful as the sound of a Ferrari, not even close tbh, much deeper and you hear it´s overloaded..

Also at downshifts you have this huge flame spitting out of the exhaust, Goodly !!!!

 

I agree that, for performance purposes, comparing the Koenigsegg to the Scuderia is apples to oranges. But the video is a great video. And it's a fantastic display of the Koenigsegg's power, because the Scuderia is blisteringly quick. But a stock CCX has more torque than the Scuderia has horsepower.

We have a Koenigsegg here and the sound it makes just from being started is awesome. Granted, there's a clear difference between a Koenigsegg and a Ferrari, but the Koenigsegg's sound is not to be discredited. A little rev and the growling idle gets violent and becomes a ferocious bark. The car is three inches wider than a Scuderia and three inches lower. When you look at the CCX from the outside, with the door open, it's ridiculous how low the seat is to the ground. It's a clown car when getting in and out and the leather and Alcantara trim are the extent of its comfort. But every nuance of this thing screams sports car. Forget super car, because that's the new-getting-old buzz word in the automotive world. The CCX is a modern day sports car in every sense of the word. No room for golf clubs, no rear shelf, no power seats. It's raw and visceral; a slap in the face among today's caressing alternatives. It's as if von Koenigsegg took the Testarossa, gave it a completely different body, and gave it 2008 power and performance.

With that said, it'd be a helluva hard choice to choose between a CCX and a Scuderia.

 

Quite different prices, You get almost 4 Scud´s for one CCX, If price did not matter decision would be faster then the Scud shifts... there is no competetion for the CCX but Zonda today. Enzo is to weak and Veyron a very fast luxuary car.

 

If Ferrari wanted to produce a drag car I'm pretty sure they would kick a55. Nice to see that Ferrari is the benchmark for the rest of the world. If only they can release a fuel hose properly. Very cool video.
