This is a video of one of my landings at Minneapolis on 30L. It is taken from the cockpit of an RJ-85. See if you can tell when the wheels actually touched down. (Passengers on the plane did not know either. It was a 1 in a 1000 landing and I got it on tape). :)

The video will be only available for a limited time unless someone else puts it on their server. -Feel free. Mine is nearly full but it should be up for a while. (3megs, no sound, cheap camera).

30L at MSP final approach and landing video.

I will try to find the video of my Aspen approach. I hope that I still have it.

-Just trying to prove worthy of my premium subscribed status. :D

I am having trouble finding my Aspen approach video. I may have accidentally deleted it. It was a Roaring Forks Visual approach through the valley. If I can't find it I will bid an Aspen line again and shoot more video.

    Aww Shucks, Roy,
Even I should be able to figure that one out....

A little roll of duct tape does wonders..... :) :)

He could'a Duct taped the camera to his headset...
or the stewardess' right arm as she sat in his lap...
or "Cleco'd the tripod to the bulkhead and operated it by remote control,
as long as it didn't interfere with the navigational equipment,
like laptops, and cell phones do...

Or Velcro! Yeah! That stuff is real neat. And you don't even need a drill!

There's a TV show from Japan, where people wear it, and jump across a moat full of raunchy looking stuff...
trying to stick their bodies on a wall target..

    some make it,......... some don't...

Then there's "Crazy Glue", Epoxy, Cold Pasta, Wallpaper paste, Oatmeal, Old Cheese, and dried egg yolk.
And not to forget the drummer's favorite, "Gorilla Snot"
( Yep! There's really a product called by that name.)
or any combination thereof, which will stick "King Kong's" bare back to the Empire State Building... for at least a minute and a half...

But...... I guess he just balanced it on the top of his knee, seeing how smooth his rudder work was........ ;) :)

Just a novice, using his head... is all.
    Sayin just remember:
    For passenger comfort,
when going, on a boat, keep your head downwind...:)

Here's the only landing I've had taped. Took Jennie up today for a great flight on this cool 100% clear day. Came in from high very steep and a little left of center, but a good landing. Transitioned into a soft field takeoff and then obstacle clear after some speed. Jennie about lost the camera on the climb. Camera just a little Sony point and shoot in video mode, large 18 mb. for just this short video.

So honestly only video I've ever had taped, she didn't want to record our final full stop. I'll be sure later to tape 100 landings and just show the best. :D

Plane was a 172 SP G1000 and airport Bridgeport, TX.
