    LOL

It's interesting how when kimi does it, it's funny. If Lewis did this? Oh wow I couldn't even imagine how much crap he'd catch.

the TV commentators pointed out that the stewards didn't complain about the hanging exhaust pipe, then joked that there would probably be complaints if Hamilton had a hanging decal...

Looks like a jacka$$ to me, there wasn't any reason for Kimi to shove the guy over, push him back lightly sure but shoving him over was out of line.

no way, good on him. dickheads want to get in the way, then bad luck. the tool had a big enough lens, surely another 5 feet away from kimi would of done.

the dude to kimi's left wasn't touched, i guess that's what happens when you don't stand on peoples 5hit.

i love the title of the video, "kimi rude ...". doesn't mention anything about the rudeness of the photographer.

I didn't watch this video (basically have no desire to) but did wonder the same thing when I read the thread title. Or better yet the episode with Alonso's trainer and Ron.

While I don't blame Kimi for what he did after the guy stepped on his stuff, being another 5 feet away would make a very different picture. He was obviously going for something close-up and wide angle, but got way too "in his face."

I've watched the vid a few times now, and it seems that the photog must have either stepped on Kimi's toes or something pretty important, because I don't see why he would just push someone over for nothing.

i'd say both are in the wrong. the photographer for trying to take pics, and potentially distract the driver, while he's trying to focus on the race, and Kimi going overboard by pushing him till the floor.

exactly, everyone on the track comes a long 2nd place to the drivers, it's their pay day.

Before a race drivers need to concentrate and having a stupid @ss photographer flashing your face and stepping over your stuff does not help. Yes, Kimi was harsh but I'm sure next time one of these dudes decides to go for a close up he knows what to expect. There are limits and Kimi just showed in a less amicable way which are his.
Mclaren "protects" Hamilton (at least last year) from all media and intruders when preparing for the grid.... I guess to avoid the push and shoving :D

I was unable to view the video but gather that the offending photog was knocked over, good.
Peter Windsor, who had been warned not to attempt an interview shoved his way in as well. Kimi was cordial but one of the others looked at him as if he were a steaming turd.
Nothing is ever learned from Windsor nor I would guess any of the others intrusions.

    I have a solution:

    * ban photographers from approaching (harassing) drivers at that distance
    * inform staff members to help keep the drivers from being mobbed
    * allow those staff members to do the pushing, when push comes to shove (literally!)

Good for him. Didn't know the guy even had the fire in the gut.

I got pushed out of the way once when i had a pit pass at a race by a guy reaching for a tire. I almost fell down but i was the one at fault and in someone elses sacred ground so i blame myself not the guy doing his job and trying to win a race especially when i was a guest on his turf.
