Video: M6 v-10 Engine at 196 mph

my post was a complete joke. No offense intended Chuck Norris is awesome though and much more awesome than an M6.

I too thought the same thing at first, I thought he was on a dyno. But after watching it the second time you can actually see trees and stuff outside the windshield, and you can distinctly hear the noise inside the car getting louder. I know the person who made this doesn't want to anyone to know where they are but you have to make it a little more believable. Very cool though . How long does it take to go 196-0?

 

yea man, its already a RUF 590 (heavily underrated) which should run 10's low 11's , the thing is flat out INSANE, but i want to add a few more things to make it complete. Again keep me in mind next time

I havent driven it all out very much, but when i took my friend for a ride we did a blast down the service road here in Huntington/Dix Hills, you can imagine its not very long and we managed 172 with ease

Its 40-42 mph faster than my turbo was on the same given straight!

 

Was that this past Saturday morning? I was in my Porsche and a Grey 996TT pulled up next to me on the service road. My car was still cold, and my wife was sitting next to me asking me not to. The TT shot out and kept going. This was between 50 and 51 on the LIE service Road.

 

Interesting, wasnt me though! I did this about 2 weeks ago, same spot as you mentioned though lol, i wonder who's Grey TT that was though, havent seen any around ever!

What would I have done? He was rolling next to me, so it was a rolling start. By the sound of his car it was stock. Which puts the race a little closer. Mine is a 997S with Fab speed (headers cold air intake mufflers etc). I'm pushing about 390 Vs. his 415. I think if all is equal he would win. If I drive better then him, I will win. I could tell you one thing, when he pulled away from me, he gave it all he had, and he wasn't gone in a flash, and my car sounds much (MUCH) better then a stock 996TT. I've driven many 996TT and they are fast. A stock one will beat me but not blow me away. A 997TT is a different story! I'm actually waiting for the 997TT Cab to come out this summer to get one.

As i mentioned, my 493rwhp and 515 rwtq 996TT was damn fast, beat a few bikes and ran Jidex's M6 as well

My GT2 ran on the service road 172 with a passenger, and was about 40mph faster than my turbo in that given situation! I would never even think of going that fast especially on such a road or in that distance, but it got up there so dman fast with my eyes peeled on the road, that i didnt realize it or even think for one second! Very stupid looking back at it!

 

Thats fast. 493 HP in a car that light....wow. That strectch of the road is good for 100-110. The next exit comes too fast. Recently there have been cops on the service rd by the Fire House. Gotta be careful. At 172, they will beat you, throw you in jail, impound the car and least of your problems, the license is gone. You live in that area?

 

No, 493 hp to the wheels, with the formula its a bit under 600 hp! Yes i am in the area and know the roads and when to do it, i work for DA's office and brother is a fire fighter so im not worried, but believe me this does not give me ANY RIGHT to do so, and i know it. Thing is i didnt go out on a mission to hit a top speed or speed, it was just an in the moment thing just like any of you would, and the fact the car was capable of doing this speed where others would be significantly lower :/

Doing 190 is beyond stupidity..... for one thing, one error and youre dead, worse case you'll be a vegetable for the rest of your life. If you get caught, consider your life ruined for the next 10yrs. Car inpounded, no license for yrs, tens of thousand dollars in legal fees....if the car is leased of financed odds are it's going to go back to the bank and a repo on your credit history.

Don't get me wrong, Im nuts on the road as well and I have vids as well, but doing 190 proves nothing.................
