Video of 458 Italia Kline Innovation exhaust sound

Here's more video of my 458 Italia sound with Kline Innovation exhaust. I have the stainless steel, Valvetronic system with decat/test pipes, and headers.

This is video with the valves open, and GoPro mounted on the rear diffuser. There's some sound at idle, 35-40 MPH, a few downshifts, and under hard acceleration at close to redline. I'm not sure if the audio was oversaturated at one point, but the sound cuts-out for a second at high RPMs. The video will still gives you a fairly good idea of the Kline sound and pitch.

Kline and IPE have the same high-pitch, F1 sound above 5000 RPMs, but Kline has more low RPM growl. I like the IPE pitch at high RPMs, but without being disparaging, the IPE exhaust can sound a little tinny at lower RPMs.

 

I don't have cats so my exhaust is extremely free flowing. The sound difference you're hearing could be the video, or it might be your cats attenuating lower frequencies.

 

Sounds like you need to add the Capristo OBD Wizard. You'd have no CELs with or without cats.

 

Thanks. I've heard many different aftermarket exhaust brands on a 458, and some other brands sound similar to Kline, but no other brands I've heard sounds more F1-like than Kline.
